It's the holidays now. I can smell the cold breeze in the air as the temperature lowers thanks to the cold Siberian winds (Amihan) stepping in and people tend to relax a bit during these festive season in our country. The winter solstice has arrived with longer nights against daytime experience almost daily till the February to March next year and the expected temperature drop at 19.4 degrees Celsius in Metro Manila and 2 degrees Celsius in Baguio City the other day which means colder days and nights ahead.
The tendency of feeling the cold weather and holidays means people do tend to be lazy, relaxed or sometimes not at mood to do the routine works however the so called BED WEATHER and HOLIDAY SYNDROME scene brings in libido to the highest level in which to people tend to have more sex at bed at times like this.
Does Cold Weather affect Intimacy?
The answer is YES, bedroom activities and intimacy tend to be more aggressive during these winter chill against summer according to a research conducted in the UK (see article). In Philippines, people spend and consume more goods and services compared with other seasons because of the bonuses received during these festive activities and jolly days. There is also a notion that most babies are conceived during December and born in September. Sexual encounters are frequently experienced during this last month of the year.
Condoms Sales, Alcohol and Sexy Lingerie Increase
It seems that sex is on high gear during this libido months with more people having enough money to spend on other items condoms sales are on-demand a week before Christmas even alcoholic beverages like wine to spice up the cold nights. Sexy lingeries are mostly on sale at the mall because of the need to replace with much newer items for the upcoming season or year as some women buy these clothing to tease up their man and make them guess on what would happen on the bedroom scene. What makes alcohol included in this segment is the intimate private parties happening between couples having a little romance with "wine and dine" experience of a date before a pleasure sexual encounters after a night cap.
I stumbled upon to blogs that I really found interesting indeed which is also what I found to be hilarious and funny and at the same time might be a bit mediocre for some. For the ladies I found this articles of Ms. Slutty Girl Problem (SGP) kind of funny and hilarious and true to life even the Points In Case column by Casey Freeman which I found hilarious about the Man Calender in which it is a breath of fresh air in being a man of modern times.
