I never thought that these things happen in the other side of world. So it means that the long arm of the law is also in the cyberspace. However in our backyard, there is not much action happening except in some sting operation brought about by media or press in partnership with the law enforcement agencues in order to show the public that it is happening in our country although not really highlighted much.
However there is one incident happened a year ago when I heard that the XXX of ABS-CBN began to prod and local adult oriented sites such as www.overdose.ph ("OD") which is now already closed to the public. It involves one lady named Ms. C who is soliciting sex for her younger sister who was teen and still a virgin because they needed the money for her younger sister's education. I sure was shocked on the stake-out as what happened and definitely Ms. C is terribly denying the allegation against her and the operation with the closure of the forum website. I know it hurts for most adult oriented patrons of these social sites.
